IIK Bhakta's commitment to continue to advance in the international arena continues to be carried out. One of them is by participating in the 22nd Asian President University Forum (AUPF) 2024, in Busan, October 31 - November 01, 2024.
This forum was opened directly by the President of DSU and Chairman of AUPF, Professor Jeguk Chang, at Dongseo University (DSU) which also hosted this year's AUPF event.
The forum, which was attended by 14 Asian and European countries, consisted of countries such as South Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Lithuania, Mongolia, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, Iraq, Lithuania and Poland. Meanwhile, the participants consisted of Presidents, Vice Presidents, Chairmen and Directors from 34 Universities, one of which is the Bhakti Wiyata Health Sciences Institute.
On this occasion, IIK Bhakta had the opportunity to collaborate with several countries in Europe and Asia such as Japan, South Korea, Lithuania, the Philippines, Macau, Bangladesh, Iraq, etc.
Meanwhile, the collaboration established in the "Asia Alliance University" (AAU) program allows IIK Bhakta students to transfer online credits between universities in Europe and Asia.
The IIK Bhakta delegation who attended the Asian President University Forum (AUPF), drg. Puspa Dila Rohmaniar, M.Kes as the Secretary of the Institute and apt. Lia Agustina, M.Sc from the Deputy for Cooperation and Internationalization explained that participating in this event could strengthen IIK Bhakta's steps to become a World Class University in 2025.
"IIK Bhakta's participation in this forum, in addition to collaborating, is also strengthening itself to become a world class institute. The collaboration carried out is related to student exchanges, curriculum development, seminars, etc. This is also an important step for IIK Bhakta in the international arena in establishing cooperation with campuses in Asia and Europe," he explained.
He further hopes that by joining IIK Bhakta in this forum, it can improve the image of IIK Bhakta in the national and international arenas.
"In addition, it can also improve the quality of graduates, as well as an effort to increase the accreditation value of study programs and institutions because international cooperation is one of the assessment indicators," he explained.
