The Diploma 3 Pharmaceutical and Food Analysis (Anafarma) and Diploma 3 Pharmacy Study Programs at the Bhakti Wiyata Kediri Institute of Health Sciences (IIK) held an Information Transfer Seminar as a follow-up to a series of Field Work Internships (PBL) that students have completed at various relevant institutions on Saturday (August 30, 2025).

The event, which took place at Graha Bhakta, was attended by lecturers, field supervisors, and student participants. The seminar provided a platform for students to share their experiences, knowledge, and learning outcomes gained during their fieldwork.

The Head of the Diploma 3 Anafarma Study Program, apt. Fita Sari, S.Farm., M.Farm., stated in her remarks that this activity aims to strengthen the connection between theory learned in college and real-world practice.

"Through information exchange, students not only share experiences but also hone their presentation and analysis skills, and provide recommendations that are beneficial for scientific and professional development," he said.

Meanwhile, a representative of the D3 Pharmacy lecturer added that this seminar also serves as an important platform for honing students' scientific communication skills. "Experience in the field is invaluable, but what's more important is how they can package that experience into knowledge that can be shared with others," he explained.

During PBL, D3 Anafarma students are placed in various food analysis laboratories and the food industry, while D3 Pharmacy students undergo internships in pharmacies, hospitals, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Through their presentations at the seminar, students shared a wide range of topics, from the challenges they face in the field, the differences between theory and practice, to the technical skills they have mastered. Furthermore, students provided insights into professional ethics, teamwork, and the importance of precision in the fields of pharmacy and food analysis.

The Rector of IIK Bhakta, Prof. Dr. Apt. Muhamad Zainuddin, separately expressed his appreciation for the organization of this activity.

"The information transfer seminar is clear evidence that IIK Bhakta emphasizes not only academic aspects but also equips students with practical skills relevant to the workplace. We hope that students will become professional, adaptable healthcare workers who are ready to compete in the global era," he said.

The Information Transfer Seminar concluded with an interactive question and answer session between students, lecturers, and field supervisors. The enthusiasm of the participants demonstrated that this type of activity is very beneficial, both as a reflection of their experiences and as a step towards improving the quality of future IIK Bhakta D3 Anafarma and D3 Pharmacy graduates.
