A glimpse of D4 Traditional Chinese Medicine Study Program

Chinese medicine is becoming a trend today. People began to believe in and try Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine is believed to have extraordinary benefits in the process of healing the body from diseases.

D4 Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) IIK BW is the only TCM study program in East Java. We became the pioneers of the TCM study program because we saw the mass interest of the need of TCM graduates. To create graduates of the highest quality, we have collaborated with a well-known university in China, namely Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

We also have the best lecturers who have high competence, expertise and professionalism. In addition, the TCM study program has been equipped with adequate laboratory facilities and equipment. All of this support makes the TCM study program settle in producing reliable and professional graduates.

Selamat Datang di D4 Traditional Chinese Medicine

Prodi D4 Pengobatan Tradisional Tiongkok (PTT) IIK Bhakta merupakan program studi sarjana terapan yang berada di bawah Fakultas Kesehatan. Prodi D4 PTT telah mendapat akreditasi B dari LAM-PTKes yang berlaku sampai 28 September 2024, suatu capaian yang selalu kami usahakan peningkatannya dari waktu ke waktu.

Di samping itu perlu kami sampaikan bahwa Prodi D4 PTT merupakan pelopor pengembang pengobatan tradisional Tiongkok yang ada di Indonesia, dengan kompetensi utama yang dimiliki lulusannya antara lain akupuntur, herbal, tuina, guasha dan terapi makanan. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya prodi kami juga telah bekerjasama dengan kampus Traditional Chinese Medicine di Cina antara lain Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Baoshan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, dan Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Lulusan kami juga telah tergabung dalam perkumpulan profesi-nya yaitu Perkumpulan Pengobatan Tradisional Interkontinental Indonesia (PPTII). PPTII telah mendapat pengakuan dari Menteri Kesehatan sebagai salah satu jenis tenaga kesehatan tradisional di Indonesia. Hal ini membuat lulusan dari prodi D4 PTT IIK Bhakta dapat memperoleh Surat Tanda Registrasi Tenaga Kesehatan Tradisional (STRTKT) dan Surat Izin Praktik Tenaga Kesehatan Tradisional (SIPTKT), sehingga dapat melegalkan lulusan kami dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan tradisional kepada masyarakat. Dengan upaya-upaya ini, kami berharap kepercayaan masyarakat luas terhadap Prodi D4 PTT IIK Bhakta semakin bertambah dari waktu ke waktu.

  1. Mastering the theoretical concepts of basic medical science (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, medical emergencies, infectious diseases, western diagnosis).
  2. Mastering the principles of procedures and therapeutic methods of acupuncture, tuina, herbs, and nutrition according to the TCM method.
  3. Mastering factual knowledge about the essence, meaning, and development of TCM.
  4. Mastering factual knowledge about TCM principles: Yin Yang, Five Elements, Organ Phenomena, Qi-Energy, Xue-blood, Body Fluids, and Meridians.
  5. Mastering the concept of disease causes and disease progression process.
  6. Mastering the principles and methods of TCM therapy, 4 ways of examining clients, differentiating syndromes according to TCM.
  7. Mastering knowledge about the principles of promotive and preventive health problems.
  8. Mastering knowledge of the principles of research methodology, writing research proposals, writing abstracts, making, and presenting posters. Mastering knowledge of the principles of entrepreneurship.

 

Specific Skills:

  1. Able to assess the nature of herbs (Indonesian and Chinese) and apply them to manage client health problems.
