Faculty of Health, Institute of Health Sciences (IIK) Bhakti Wiyata, in an effort to improve understanding and handling of children's health problems, held a seminar with the theme "Early Detection and Management of Kidney Failure in Children", Thursday (12/19/2024).
This seminar aims to provide deeper insight into the importance of early detection and proper treatment of kidney failure in children. This event involved speakers who are experts in their fields, namely Dr. Ns. Rita Dewi Sunarno, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp. Kep. Mat, Anna Septina Andarini, SST., M.Keb, and dr. Nieken Susanti, Sp.A, M.Biomed.
In her remarks, Dr. Ns. Rita Dewi Sunarno emphasized the importance of early detection of kidney failure in children to reduce the risk of more severe kidney organ damage. Kidney failure in children is often detected late because the symptoms are similar to other medical conditions. Therefore, medical personnel must be more sensitive to the early signs of this disease and conduct further examinations to ensure a proper diagnosis. In addition, the role of parents in monitoring their children's health is also very vital.
The seminar held by IIK Bhakti Wiyata provided a lot of valuable knowledge about early detection and management of kidney failure in children. Through this event, it is hoped that medical personnel, parents, and the community can be more aware of the importance of maintaining children's kidney health from an early age and taking appropriate preventive measures. In addition, collaboration between various parties, including families and medical personnel, is very important to support children suffering from kidney failure so that they can live a healthy and quality life.
With this seminar, IIK Bhakti Wiyata is committed to continuing to educate and improve the quality of health services, especially in terms of handling kidney disease in children.
