The external research grant program from the Directorate General of Research, Technology, and Community Service (Ditjen Risbang Kemdiktisaintek) for Fiscal Year 2026 has gained significant interest among lecturers. To compete successfully, each proposal must meet the National Research Standards as regulated in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Regulation No. 39 of 2025. In addition, proposals must follow the required writing format and align with the institution’s research roadmap.
To support these needs, IIK Bhakta, through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), organized a Coaching Clinic on Main Cluster Research Proposal Writing. This activity aims to help lecturers produce stronger, more relevant, and competitive proposals. The program also supports the achievement of institutional performance indicators (CKNK 27 and 35), especially those related to the number of government-funded research projects.
The event was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Ruang Bumi, 6th Floor, Adipadma Building, IIK Bhakta. Participants included eligible lecturers, lecturers with the academic rank of Lektor and SINTA scores above 300, lecturers who will be part of research proposal teams, and S2 lecturers with NIDN from various faculties.
The main objectives of this activity were to improve the quality of research proposals, increase the number of proposals that pass funding selection, and strengthen lecturers’ skills in preparing proposals according to standards. The expected output was a set of research proposals ready to be submitted to the 2026 Priority Research Program. The expected outcome was improved alignment between research topics and the institutional roadmap, as well as enhanced quality of research outputs.
The coaching clinic used several methods, including presentations, discussions, and hands-on practice. The session featured an experienced speaker, Prof. Ferry Efendi, S.Kep.Ns., MSc., PhD, from Universitas Airlangga, who also serves as the Head of LPJPHKI.
Through this program, IIK Bhakta aims to enhance lecturers’ competitiveness in external funding opportunities and support the institution’s contribution to national research and innovation.
