Kediri – The Quality Assurance Agency (BPM) of IIK Bhakta organized the IIK Bhakta Internal Quality Auditor Training 2025 on Thursday, August 7, 2025, held at Bumi Hall, 6th Floor, Adipadma Building, IIK Bhakta. This activity represents a strategic step by the institution to strengthen quality governance and ensure the effective and sustainable implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI).
The training featured two distinguished speakers from the Quality Assurance Agency of Universitas Airlangga: Prof. Dr. Helmy Yusuf, S.Si., Apt., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Suciati, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D., Apt. They delivered comprehensive materials on the concepts, principles, and practices of internal quality audits within higher education institutions. A total of 45 participants attended the training, representing Centers and Study Programs within IIK Bhakta.
The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the principles and cycle of SPMI, equip them with internal quality audit techniques and procedures in accordance with national standards and IIK Bhakta’s policies, prepare competent and objective internal auditors, and support continuous quality improvement.
During the training, participants gained comprehensive insights into SPMI and the PPEPP cycle (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement). Discussions also covered quality evaluation mechanisms through monitoring and evaluation (monev) and internal audits, effective audit systems, and systematic audit implementation stages.
To strengthen competencies, participants engaged in practical sessions on developing audit checklists and participated in simulations of internal audit implementation. The training was designed not only to build theoretical understanding but also to enable participants to directly apply the knowledge within their respective work units.
Through this training, IIK Bhakta expects to develop professional, systematic, and constructive internal quality auditors capable of identifying findings and providing improvement recommendations. In this way, a culture of quality within the institution can continue to grow and develop sustainably.
