The 36th cohort of new dentists at IIK Bhakta were visibly moved during the professional oath-taking ceremony at the IIK Bhakta Auditorium.
One of the outstanding graduates receives the Best Graduate award alongside her family and IIK Bhakta officials following the oath-taking ceremony of the 36th cohort of new dentists.
The Institut Ilmu Kesehatan (IIK) Bhakti Wiyata once again marked a historic milestone in dental education by holding the Oath-Taking Ceremony for the 36th Cohort of New Dentists on Thursday (4/9).
A total of 17 new dentists were officially inaugurated after successfully completing the full series of academic and professional training at the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of IIK Bhakta.
The solemn oath-taking ceremony took place at the IIK Bhakta Auditorium, led by Dr. drg. Puspa Dila Rohmaniar, M.Kes., Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry IIK Bhakta, and witnessed by representatives of the Regional Board of the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI), the academic community of FKG IIK Bhakta, and the leadership of Yayasan Bhakti Wiyata.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. apt. Muhamad Zainuddin, Rector of IIK Bhakta, expressed his appreciation and pride for the graduates’ achievements. “Today is not only a moment of celebration, but also the beginning of a lifelong journey of service for our new dentists. We hope that all graduates will continue to uphold professional ethics, integrity, and remain committed to delivering the best oral and dental health services for the community,” he stated.
The ceremony was marked by the recitation of the professional oath led by religious leaders according to each graduate’s faith, followed by the signing of the official oath document. This process serves as a formal requirement before graduates can begin practicing as recognized healthcare professionals.
The 17 new dentists taking the oath are graduates of the Dentistry Study Program at IIK Bhakta who have gone through a comprehensive educational journey, including theoretical studies, clinical practice, and the national competency examination. This achievement further strengthens IIK Bhakta’s contribution to producing professional healthcare providers in Indonesia.
Representing the new dentists, drg. Damba Izathus S delivered a heartfelt testimony. “We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all lecturers, mentors, and parents who have given us their endless support. May we apply the knowledge we have gained with responsibility and dedication for the improvement of public health in Indonesia,” she conveyed with emotion.
Through this oath-taking ceremony, IIK Bhakta reaffirms its commitment as a leading health sciences institution producing not only highly competent medical professionals, but also individuals with strong character, ethics, and readiness to compete at a global level.
