IIK Bhakta Holds Topping-Off Ceremony for Cipto Utomo Building After Receiving Superior Accreditation
The Bhakti Wiyata Institute of Health Sciences (Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata / IIK Bhakta) has officially been granted Superior Accreditation status. This achievement was marked by the presentation of the Superior Accreditation certificate by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) team to IIK Bhakta on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, as formally stated in Letter No. 2309/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/PT/VI/2025. With this recognition, IIK Bhakta is now among the top 4% of the 4,416 higher education institutions in Indonesia with Superior Accreditation.
This milestone is not merely an institutional achievement, but a tangible acknowledgment of the commitment, collaboration, and spirit of the entire academic community at IIK Bhakta.

Superior Accreditation provides significant added value for IIK Bhakta students and alumni. Academic staff and lecturers also benefit from easier access to funding from LPDP, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, and international bodies. This encourages continuous improvement in faculty competencies and performance.
Superior Accreditation also strengthens IIK Bhakta’s ability to form international collaborations in student exchanges, research, and curriculum development. It serves as a solid foundation toward global recognition such as AUN-QA, ISO, QS Ranking, and beyond.

However, this achievement is only the beginning. By 2030, IIK Bhakta envisions itself as a leading health sciences institution in the ASEAN region under the spirit of “Bhakta Mendunia” (Bhakta Goes Global). Continuous quality improvement remains a top priority—this includes curriculum development, digital integration in learning, and the construction of modern, internationally standardized educational facilities.
IIK Bhakta is actively investing in campus infrastructure, laboratories, and IT-based learning systems. One such effort is the ongoing construction of the Cipto Utomo Building, a new four-story icon of modern education in Kediri.
