The Institute of Health Sciences (IIK) Bhakti Wiyata Kediri welcomed a comparative study visit from the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIKes) Maharani Malang on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The visit aimed to observe and learn directly from the management system of faculties, academic quality improvement strategies, and supporting health education facilities at IIK Bhakta.
The delegation from STIKes Maharani Malang was led by the Chairperson, Reny Tri Febriani, SST, M.Kes, along with the Foundation Supervisor, dr. Aman Ardjito E, SKM. They were formally received by the Rector of IIK Bhakta, Prof. Dr. Apt. Muhammad Zainuddin, along with the university leadership team, at the IIK Bhakta Rectorate Building. The visit commenced with a warm welcome and an institutional profile presentation of IIK Bhakta, followed by a strategic discussion session focused on the management of the Faculty of Health.
In his remarks, the Rector of IIK Bhakta expressed his sincere appreciation for the initiative taken by STIKes Maharani Malang in selecting IIK Bhakta as the destination for their comparative study.
“We are honored to welcome our colleagues from STIKes Maharani Malang. We hope this visit marks the beginning of a fruitful partnership in strengthening the implementation of the three pillars of higher education, particularly in the field of health sciences,” said Prof. Dr. Apt. Muhammad Zainuddin.
The comparative study visit included an on-site tour of IIK Bhakta’s leading educational facilities, including:
Faculty of Health Laboratories, which support clinical competence through hands-on learning.
Anatomy Laboratory, featuring advanced tools such as cadaver specimens and a digital anatomy table.
OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) Building and Midwifery Simulation Room, designed to support national-standard competence assessments.
Podcast Studio, which is utilized as a digital media learning tool by IIK Bhakta.
Chairperson of STIKes Maharani Malang, Reny Tri Febriani, SST, M.Kes, conveyed her admiration and appreciation for IIK Bhakta’s academic management and facilities.
“We have gained a wealth of knowledge and inspiration from this visit. IIK Bhakta has demonstrated best practices in managing a health education institution. We hope this visit fosters inter-institutional synergy and contributes to improving the quality of our educational services,” she remarked.
