  2. Able to demonstrate independent, qualified, and measurable performance according to the standards of traditional Chinese medicine.
  3. Able to study cases of application of science and technology of traditional Chinese medicine that pay attention to and apply humanities values according to their fields of expertise to produce prototypes, standard procedures, designs, or works of art.
  4. Able to compile the results of the above study in the form of working papers, design specifications, or art essays, and upload them on the institution website.
  5. Able to take the right measurement/decision based on standard procedures, design specifications, safety, and security requirements in supervising and evaluating traditional Chinese medicine services.

Mastery of Knowledge:

  1. Mastering the theoretical concepts of basic medical science (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, medical emergencies, infectious diseases, western diagnosis).
  2. Mastering the principles of procedures and therapeutic methods of acupuncture, tuina, herbs, and nutrition according to the TCM method.
  3. Mastering factual knowledge about the essence, meaning, and development of TCM.
  4. Mastering factual knowledge about TCM principles: Yin Yang, Five Elements, Organ Phenomena, Qi-Energy, Xue-blood, Body Fluids, and Meridians.
  5. Mastering the concept of disease causes and disease progression process.
  6. Mastering the principles and methods of TCM therapy, 4 ways of examining clients, differentiating syndromes according to TCM.
  7. Mastering knowledge about the principles of promotive and preventive health problems.
  8. Mastering knowledge of the principles of research methodology, writing research proposals, writing abstracts, making, and presenting posters. Mastering knowledge of the principles of entrepreneurship.

 

Specific Skills:

  1. Able to assess the nature of herbs (Indonesian and Chinese) and apply them to manage client health problems.
  2. Able to apply acupuncture methods in managing client health problems.
  3. Able to apply the tuina method in managing client health problems.
  4. Able to assess nutritious food ingredients according to client needs for maintenance and health restoration of clients.
