Opponent Covid-19: IIK Bhakti Wiyata as Health Campus Ready to Face the New Normal Era

The Covid-19 pandemic that has taken place in Indonesia since last March has never ended, while activities must continue. Therefore the Indonesian government is preparing a scheme to implement new normal so that all sectors can start being productive again even though the system is no longer the same. Reported by the Government Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto asserted, the term new normal is a change in the culture of the community to implement PHBS (Clean and Healthy Lifestyle) and implement safe protocols for Covid-19 prevention.

This new normal era also has an impact on the education sector, especially higher education in the health sector. As we know, the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic makes us aware that health is important and health workers are one of the many fighters who have contributed to the fight against this pandemic.

The first health campus in Indonesia that has been recognized by MURI and is ready to go to World Class University, the Bhyti Wiyata Institute of Health Sciences is also preparing the system to face the new normal era. In fact, before the existence of the new normal issue, IIK Bhakti Wiyata readily devised an effective strategy in preparing for the Covid-19 pandemic, including the following:

1. Learning can be done online ( online ) is maximized using Moodle application OASIS quota-free access for all faculty and students. Meanwhile, practicum courses in the laboratory will be tricked with the method of setting the distance of sitting and shifting systems so that the capacity of students in the room remains by the rules of physical distancing.
2. The IIK-BW Internal Quality Assurance Center carries out periodic online monitoring and evaluation to ensure the online learning process has achieved the learning objectives.
3. Implementation of preparation, mentoring, thesis examination / final project until the graduation is transferred online. Then the research data for the thesis material or the final project is directed to use secondary research (existing data).
4. Consultation services for prospective new students are made online through the website www.iik.ac.id/livekonsultasi and personality tests to determine the suitability of study programs can be accessed for free on the page www.iik.ac.id/pilihprodi
5. The process of admitting new students is also done online including psychological testing, and all kinds of registration information ranging from fees, study program info to info around campus can be accessed via www.iik.ac.id/ registration

In the face of new normality, IIK Bhakti Wiyata is also ready to apply the blended learning system lecture. "This blended learning lecture is a combination of online and face-to-face lectures in class physically," said Ninis Yuliati, S.Sc., M. Kes., Apt., As Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of IIK Bhakti Wiyata. With the concept of blended learning, It is hoped that IIK Bhakti Wiyata can maintain the quality of graduates and will later be able to improve their achievements. Previously, IIK Bhakti Wiyata managed to enter the Top 6% of the Best Higher Education Institutions from 4600 existing universities and enter the "Very Good" cluster with rank 113th in the category of Community Service Performance by Kemenristekdikti.

2. When entering the lecture/laboratory room, clean your desk/bench with disinfectant

5. Avoid face-to-face meetings with organizational friends
6. Always clean your hands before touching the face
