Becoming Resilient and Ethical Pharmacists: IIK Bhakta Holds Information Transfer and Guest Lecture Event
Students were enthusiastic in participating in the Information Transfer event of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program at IIK Bhakta.

The Institute of Health Sciences Bhakti Wiyata (IIK Bhakta) once again held its annual Information
Transfer event for the 2022 cohort of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program on Monday, July 7, 2025. Taking place at Graha Adipadma IIK Bhakta, the event marked a meaningful milestone for hundreds of pharmacy students as they continue their academic journey in pharmaceutical sciences.
This year’s Information Transfer was not only a forum for academic sharing between senior and junior students, but also featured a Guest Lecture session aimed at deepening participants' understanding of current developments in the pharmaceutical field in Indonesia.
The event was officially opened by the Rector of IIK Bhakti Wiyata, Prof. Dr. Apt. Muhamad Zainuddin, who delivered a motivational message urging students to embody discipline, integrity, and to take valuable lessons from their fieldwork experiences.
“Pharmacists are one of the key pillars in our national healthcare system. Pharmacy students must realize that their roles will impact vital aspects of public health. Be learners who are not only intellectually capable but also empathetic and morally responsible,” he remarked during his speech.
Prior to this event, 174 students had completed a one-month fieldwork program held from May 19 to June 14, 2025. During this period, they were placed in several hospitals, including Bhayangkara Hospital, Siti Khadijah Hospital Sepanjang, Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital Mojokerto, and Sukandar Hospital Mojosari. These placements provided students with practical exposure to pharmaceutical services in real healthcare settings.
