Knowledge of developments in information technology, electronic data processing, data interoperability, and various health information system applications in healthcare facilities (P1PT2);
Knowledge of the fundamentals of disease and procedure classification and coding for code validation and healthcare financing purposes in healthcare facilities (P2PT1);
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to support disease classification and coding based on ICD-9-CM and ICD-10 (P2PT2);
