Bhakti Wiyata Health Sciences Institute (IIK Bhakta) held a dentist oath-taking ceremony for class XXXIII which was held in the Cakra Room, Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The event was a historic moment for graduates who had completed their education and training in the dentistry study program.
The oath-taking process began with the reading of the oath by the graduates, witnessed by lecturers, families, and a number of invited guests. This event was not only an important step in the career journey of the graduates, but also marked their contribution to the world of dentistry in Indonesia.
One of the interesting things about this oath-taking event was the presence of graduates from Timor Leste. These graduates showed high enthusiasm and dedication in studying at IIK Bhakta, which not only developed academic knowledge, but also fostered a sense of unity across countries.
At the event, the Chancellor of IIK Bhakta, Dr.apt.Muhamad Zainuddin in his speech expressed his pride in the achievements of the students and graduates. He also expressed his appreciation to all teachers and education staff who have accompanied the students during their education process.
"This emotional oath-taking procession reminds us of the importance of the role of dentists in maintaining public health. With the addition of these new professionals, it is hoped that the dental health sector in Indonesia and friendly countries such as Timor Leste can continue to develop and provide benefits to the wider community," he explained.
The event was closed with the presentation of diplomas and symbols to the graduates, as well as a group photo as a memento of this extraordinary achievement. Hopefully the graduates can apply the knowledge they have gained at IIK Bhakta with full responsibility and professionalism.
