Holding BKGN 2024 Again: IIK Bhakta Wants to Achieve Caries Free in Kediri City

The Bhakti Wiyata Institute of Health Sciences (IIK Bhakta) is holding the 2024 National Dental Health Month (BKGN) event in collaboration with PT. Univeler.BKGN activities will last for 3 days starting from 18 September to 20 September 2024 at the IIK Bhakta Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM). On this occasion, also present were the Director of RSGM IIK Bhakta, Anisa Ramadhani Kusumastiti, M.MRS., Representative of the Bhakti Wiyata Foundation, Cindy Caroline S, Ph.D, drg. Ratu Mirah Afifah, GCClinDent., MDSc., Head of Professional Marketing Personal Care Unilever Indonesia, Chair of PDGI Kediri Branch drg. Erma Etika, and all invited guests from elementary schools, Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School, Al Wahidiyah Foundation to Persedikab Youth.The event began with the performance of jaranan, singing the song Indonesia Raya, and reading prayers. After that, it was continued with remarks by the Chief Executive of the 2024 BKGN, Drg. Afrida Nurmalasari., M. Kes.According to him, a series of activities in BKGN include free dental care such as simple tooth fillings, tooth extraction, tartar cleaning, teledentistry, and school health programs.He further said that the series of activities in the 2024 BKGN are expected to be an early prevention effort against dental and oral diseases such as caries, especially in the Kediri City area.
