The Bhakta IIK Kediri Undergraduate Public Health Study Program will hold the Indonesia Public Health Series 4 (IPHS 4) in December 2021.
IPHS 4 is in the form of a series of online seminar activities as a form of implementation of Bhakta IIK's collaboration with Mahsa University Malaysia, RUDN University Russia, and Airlangga University.
The first series of activities is IPHS 4.1: 2nd International Conference of Public Health (ICoPH) with the theme "Public Health Intervention In Suppressing Health Problems During The Covid-19 Pandemic".
The event opened with Welcoming Remarks from the Chancellor of Bhakta IIK Prof. Dr. apt. Muhammad Zainuddin. which was followed by a presentation by three speakers namely:
1. Prof. Dr. Rusli Bin Nordin, (MAHSA University Malaysia) with the topic "Strengthening The Accessibility of Health Services with Telemedicine".
2. Prof. Mikhail Blagonravov, MD, PhD, DSc. (RUDN University Russia) with the topic "Public Health Nutrition: Eating Habits and Food Security".
3. Endah Retnani Wismaningsih, S.KM., M.Kes (Institute of Health Sciences Bhakti Wiyata Kediri, Indonesia) with the topic "Vaccines for Specific Protection".
It is hoped that through IPHS 4.1: 2nd ICoPH it can add insight into public health interventions in reducing health problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The second series of activities is IPHS 4.2: Expert Lecture with the theme "Public Speaking in Public Health". The event was opened by the Chancellor of Bhakta IIK Prof. Dr. apt. Muhammad Zainuddin. which was continued with material presentation by Mrs. Ira Nurmala, S.KM., M.PH., Ph.D. The material presented is about the ability of public speaking as part of the competence of a Bachelor of Public Health. Through this expert lecture, students are expected to have insight into public speaking in public health, not only the ability to speak in front of many people, but also the ability to speak in a coherent and planned manner and support the achievement of other public health competencies.
