Bhakti Wiyata Health Science Institute (IIK Bhakta) and Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya (UWKS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service, Saturday 30 (11/30/2024).
This collaboration is focused on the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, which includes three main pillars, namely education, research, and community service.
The Chancellor of IIK Bhakti Wiyata, Prof. Dr. apt. Muhamad Zainuddin stated that with this collaboration, it is hoped that the two institutions can support each other to strengthen the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. In addition, he hopes that this collaboration will accelerate the development of science and technology that can provide great benefits to society, especially in the health sector.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya, Prof. Dr. H. Widodo Ario Kentjono, dr. Sp.THT-KL (K), FICS added that this MoU is a strategic step that can strengthen the reputation of both institutions in the world of higher education, as well as provide a positive impact on society and the academic world. In community service, both universities hope to improve the quality of life of the community by providing health education based on the latest research and development. The signing of the MoU between IIK Bhakti Wiyata and Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya is an important step in strengthening the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, as well as creating a synergistic collaboration between higher education, research, and community service. It is hoped that this collaboration can provide great benefits for both institutions, as well as encourage improvements in the quality of education and community welfare, especially in the health sector.
