IIK Bhakti Wiyata (IIK BW) Kediri continues to strive to innovate to improve the quality of education in East Java. This has been proven by the establishment of the Test Service Center (PLT 83 IIK BW) which collaborated directly with the Indonesian Test Service Center (PLTI) since August 22, 2019. As part of PLTI, PLT 83 IIK BW is ready to be the place for the TOEP test and Academic Basic Competency Test (TKDA). It should be noted, currently in the province of East Java there are 10 (ten) PLTs spread across 4 cities, both public and private universities. Of the 10 PLTs, 2 of them are available at private universities (PTS) and one of them is at the Bhakti Wiyata Institute of Health Sciences. In this case, IIK Bhakti Wiyata is the only PLT in the Karisidenan Kediri, Madiun and Bojonegoro areas after previously only being found in Surabaya and Malang, and even then in state universities.

PLTI itself was founded and owned by two national scale professional organizations, namely TEFLIN (The Association for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia) and HIMPSI (Indonesian Psychological Association). PLTI is an institution engaged in English language proficiency tests and academic potential tests. In organizing the test, it is carried out in collaboration with higher education institutions as PLTI partners through a work unit called PLT (Test Service Center). The presence of PLT 83 Institute of Health Sciences Bhakti Wiyata in Kediri City greatly facilitates prospective test takers domiciled in the western part of East Java and its surroundings, such as Kediri Raya, Pacitan, Madiun, Ponorogo, Jombang and also accommodates prospective participants from various other regions.

The test is carried out online and in bulk with a concise and reliable administration and fast and efficient reporting of test results. In addition to being equipped with qualified facilities, the test room is also specially designed to stay comfortable and maintain the concentration of the participants. In one session, PLT 83 IIK BW was able to accommodate 50 test participants.

The test services provided include an English competency test, namely the TOEP (Test of English Proficiency) and an academic potential test, namely TKDA (Academic Basic Competency Test). TOEP and TKDA have been used in Indonesia especially by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In addition, this test is also widely used to support the requirements of:

Apply for scholarships.
Continuing studies to a higher level.
Recruitment of employees or Civil Servants (PNS).
Lecturer certification.
Taking care of Lecturer National Identification Number (NIDN) and other personal needs.

TOEP (Test of English Proficiency) is a test of proficiency in English, which is conducted online using a multimedia computer. This test measures participants' English proficiency, which ranges from 0 (not yet a user of English) to 100 (very proficient).

TKDA is a test that measures individual cognitive abilities needed for a person to complete studies and develop in a higher education environment. This test consists of the verbal, numerical, and figural sections with a total of 160 items in 8 subtests. The verbal section includes Analogy, Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Reasoning. The numerical section covers Arithmetic Subjects, Number Series, and Word Problems. The figural section includes Figure Analysis and Synthesis and Spatial Reasoning analysis. Scores are reported in the CEEB standard in the range 200-800.

The routine schedule for the TKDA Session test is available at 08.00 WIB and TOEP Session at 13.00 WIB with the implementation date following the official schedule from PLTI. If there is a request for the opening of a special schedule, participants can contact the contact address provided. Prospective test takers can register via member.plti.co.id. Apart from serving the test, PLTI 83 also provides guidance for TOEP and TKDA preparation.
