Welcoming New Students: Antioch's Ecumenical Christian UKMHold a Batur Tadah EventWelcoming the new academic year 2021, the Antioch Christian Student Activity Unit of IIK Bhakti Wiyata (IIK Bhakta) held a Tadah Batur event (Meeting and Worship Together for the New Academic Year) for Christian students of IIK Bhakta for two days on Friday and Saturday (5 -6/11/2021).Nyssa Andriani Chandra, ST, MM., as the speaker on the first day of the Tadah Batur event brought the theme of How to Survive in Quarter Life Crisis (Romans 12: 2). He explained to new students that entering their 20s, many young people experience a quarter life crisis marked by fear, anxiety, and depression.“Young people at the age of 20 will definitely experience a quarter life crisis that causes confusion. The confusion or indecision that occurs during the quarter life crisis is usually caused because the majority of young people do not have clear priorities or goals in life. So, try to think about what you want to achieve, for example, focus on studying, participate in more positive activities, and so on,” he said.Meanwhile, Rudy S.drg., S.Pros. as the second speaker added that students must hold fast to God's Word in facing the quarter life crisis. "By delivering God's word at this worship service, it is hoped that Christian students will be able to face the quarter life crisis so that they can determine the direction of life so that they do not make wrong steps in making choices that will have an impact on their future. In addition, students are also expected to have a commitment to believe and hold fast to God's Word and can be an example and light for those around them," he concluded.
