Pharmacist Class VIII IIK Bhakta Takes Professional Oath

Pharmacists are a profession that relies on the expertise and authority of pharmaceutical practice to carry out the mandate and responsibility in every implementation of this practice.

Apart from completing professional education, a pharmacist must also take a professional oath as a pharmacist.

A total of 62 prospective pharmacists will undergo a sacred moment tomorrow, namely taking the oath of the pharmacist profession at Bhakta Hall, Wednesday (08/05/2024).

This happy moment has certainly been long awaited by the new pharmacist candidates for class VIII of the Pharmacist Professional Education study program at the Bhakti Wiyata Kediri Institute of Health Sciences (IIK Bhakta).

One of the pharmacist candidates who will be sworn in tomorrow is Lutfiyyah Nurul M, S.Farm. The student from Mojokerto City admitted that he couldn't wait for the pharmacist oath moment.

According to him, the pharmacist's oath is a historical moment that marks the final achievement of professional pharmacist education, where a person will be awarded the title of pharmacist.

"We and our friends are very happy to have passed the study period until the UKAI exam. We have been waiting for the pharmacist oath moment. "At this moment, we will be inaugurated to continue to uphold the pharmaceutical oath and code of ethics," he said.

Furthermore, this student, who is also active in the IIK Bhakta Student Representative Council, also expressed his gratitude to the entire academic community of the IIK Bhakta Faculty of Pharmacy who have guided him to this point.

"We, representing the class of Pharmacists VIII IIK Bhakta, would like to express our gratitude to the lecturers at the pharmacy faculty who have helped us a lot in our studies until we achieved this degree. Hopefully in the future we can apply our knowledge for the benefit of the nation and state," he concluded.
