Faculty of Medical

As the first health-focused university in Indonesia, IIK Bhakta recognizes the growing demand for medical doctors and the rising challenges of degenerative diseases as strong drivers for establishing a modern, competent, and highly competitive medical education program. The idea of founding the Faculty of Medicine was developed through a series of academic preparations, competency-based curriculum design, and fulfillment of national medical education standards.

A significant milestone occurred on March 21, 2023, when the Recommendation for the Establishment of the Faculty of Medicine was officially issued by the Minister of Health, marking the beginning of this faculty’s development. This was followed by external evaluations, including a visitation by the Indonesian Medical Council (KKI) in April 2024 and a subsequent visitation by the Ministry of Health.

As a commitment to providing high-quality medical education, IIK Bhakta has prepared modern learning facilities such as the Biomedical Laboratory, Tutorial Laboratory, Skills Laboratory, and OSCE Laboratory. Supported by a network of partner hospitals and professional teaching staff, the Faculty of Medicine IIK Bhakta is ready to produce excellent, humane, and ethical future doctors who will contribute to improving the quality of public health.
