General Competence

  1. Able to identify and resolve drug-related problems to optimize therapy.
  2. Able to provide pharmaceutical and medical device services according to the needs of patients.
  3. Able to prepare pharmaceutical preparations (sterile and non-sterile) according to the needs of patients.
  4. Able to play an active role in the design, development, and production of pharmaceutical preparations that are safe, effective, stable, and of good quality.
  5. Able to manage the supply and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices systematically and effectively.
  6. Able to provide the accurate and latest information and education services related to medicine and treatment.
  7. Able to design and implement community-based pharmacy services in the promotion of and preventive public health.
  8. Able to conduct pharmaceutical research to improve the success of therapy.
  9. Able to develop professional abilities on an ongoing basis.
  10. Able to apply management systems in managing pharmaceutical work.
  11. Able to build interprofessional communication and cooperation with various parties, especially with health workers.
  12. Able to carry out pharmaceutical practices in a professional, legal, and ethical manner.

Specific Competencies

  1. Able to apply pharmaceutical practices based on Professional and Ethical Practice in terms of counseling services and information related to drugs, compile information/ideas/thoughts, communicate and collaborate with other health professions through various media and/or the general public effectively according to Legal and Regulatory Practice.
  2. Able to manage pharmaceutical facilities, human resources, pharmaceutical preparations, and medical devices that meet the legality, safe, effective, and documented requirements following Good Pharmacy Practice.
  3. Able to conduct and evaluate rational self-services (effective, safe, available, and affordable) and prescription services under Good Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Service Standards by rational therapy guidelines, to achieve improved health and quality of life of patients.
  4. Able to do formulation, manufacture, and quality assurance of pharmaceutical preparations, based on the science and technology of the pharmaceutical field by observing the laws and regulations as well as applying science and technology for self-development and sustainable research.
