Undergraduate Public Health students won 2nd place in the National Team Whip Dance Creation Category at the Kediri City Samandiman Pecut Festival.

Afnida Putri Maharani and Media Noya Permata (class of 2020) proved that being a student is not only about pursuing academic achievements but also non-academic achievements through their hobby of dancing.Both of them took part in the national scale Pecut traditional dance competition organized by the Kediri City Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports Department (DISBUDPARPORA) in collaboration with the Kediri City Pecut Samandiman Association.This festival was attended by 32 participants in the team category from various regions in Indonesia. This competition took place in the Selomangleng tourist area, Kediri City, on December 2-3 2023.There is a message they want to convey through their participation and success, namely that the younger generation must not forget their local cultural roots.
